FAQs

Where are you located?

We are located at 395 Churchill Rd, in Kilburn SA 5084. There is street parking available either side of the studio on Le Hunte st and Gladstone Ave, or across the road from the studio in the Costco carpark.

Cult does both pre-booked and walk in/same day appointments, please enquire or text on 0439 909 246 to make an appointment.

What is the process to book an appointment?

To book an appointment please head to the contact form on this website and fill in the required information. Remember to check your junk/spam folder as sometimes our replies to your enquiries end up there!

Consultations can be booked for custom tattoos and flash variations, and normally take 10-15 minutes. These appointments are free of charge, however if you do go forward with booking in an appointment at the end of the consult appointment, a booking fee must be paid to secure that appointment.

Do I have to pay a deposit/booking fee?

Your appointment will not be secured until a booking fee (or deposit) is paid. If this is not paid, your appointment will be forfeited.

Senior artist’s require a $100 booking fee for small-medium tattoos, and apprentice tattoos require booking fee’s of $50-$100.

Full day sittings with senior artists require booking fees of between $150-$250max, the amount is up to the artist’s discretion

Your booking fee comes off the total of your tattoo at the end of your session.

In the case of large custom tattoos, a drawing fee may be charged at the artist’s discretion.

What will my tattoo cost?

Our minimum cost is $150 for apprentice tattoos and $200 for senior artist tattoos.

Your tattoo will be quoted by the artist either in reply to your enquiry via email, or during your consultation so you have an exact idea of how much to bring on the day.

Can I use Numbing Cream?

We don’t recommend using numbing cream and we do not stock it in the studio.

Numbing cream changes the texture of skin, and can effect the way your tattoo heals. It also increases the chances of having a reaction.

Please discuss this with your artist either during your consultation or over email prior to your tattoo appointment if you are considering using numbing cream for your tattoo.

When will I see my design?

Designs will be shown on the day of your appointment. We always allow enough time to make changes on the day and ensure clients are 100% happy with their pieces before going ahead with your tattoo.

A lot of time and energy goes into creating your custom piece so unfortunately this means we are unable to send designs before the day. Additionally, sending out designs before the day of your tattoo appointment unfortunately puts our artist’s at risk of plagiarism.

The day of your appointment | Advice

Getting a tattoo is stressful on your body so preparation is key!

The night before your tattoo, it’s best to have an early night, be well hydrated and some good rest. Getting tattooed with a hangover or lack of sleep is a bad time for you and your artist!

A couple of hours before your appointment you should eat a substantial, preferably savoury, meal.

If you are in for a long day, we encourage clients to bring lunch and snacks.

Complimentary snacks and refreshments are always available for our clients.
